Will Gautam’s Trap Send Ansh To Jail On His Wedding Eve?
Anupama was looking at a photo of Ansh, Ishani, Mahi, Rahi and Pari together and it made her happy. She showed it to Leela. But the happiness did not sit still — something about Ansh had her restless.
At the party Ansh, Prem and Banku were doing a couple dance. Ansh was giving it everything but the energy was catching up with him. He bumped into someone during the chaos. Later he stepped outside and found a girl being screamed at by her boyfriend. Ansh stepped in and told the boy to back off. The girl was shaking. She grabbed Ansh and hugged him out of panic. Ansh tried to calm her down. Prem walked out and found them like that. Ansh explained the whole thing — the boyfriend, the shouting, the girl panicking. Prem told him everyone was waiting inside and to come back.
Gautam had already gotten the video. He watched it and the look on his face said everything.
Back home Digvijay helped Anupama protect her lamp from the wind and she thanked him. The house was filling up with mehendi preparations. Ishani told Anupama she had gotten beads. Anupama asked if they were for hair. Ishani explained that beads go into henna designs now too. Anupama was fascinated and started talking about how new things quietly replace old ones — not a complaint, more like wonder. Kinjal cut in and said after so long a new daughter-in-law was coming into the house and she could not wait to become a mother-in-law the way Anupama had been. Leela heard that and said Kinjal should aim to be a mother-in-law like her instead. Then she added that after the wedding everyone would be busy except her, Kinjal and Mahi. Mahi heard it and walked away without a word.
Anupama told Kinjal quietly that Leela never thinks before she speaks. Kinjal said after living with someone like Gautam, being alone was genuinely better. Anupama said she would never wish anyone a partner like Gautam but Mahi being alone still worried her. Kinjal pointed out that both of them were alone too. Anupama reminded her she was the one who had told her to leave Paritosh. She said she just hoped Mahi found someone who deserved her. Kinjal told her to stop getting emotional at a mehendi function. Anupama pulled herself together and decided this night was going to be memorable for Ansh.
Prerna was first in line and demanded Anupama put henna on her hands before anyone else. Anupama blessed both her and Ansh. Pakhi asked Anupama to ward off the evil eye from them. Vasundhara suggested Leela go next since she was the eldest. Leela said she was younger than Vasundhara and that settled that.
Anupama sat Ansh and Prerna down and told them about the 7-7-7 rule. Every seven days, one evening just the two of them. Every seven weeks, one full day together. Every seven months, a proper vacation alone. Leela told everyone in the room to write it down.
At the café Shruti brought up Anupama’s diary with Prem. He shut it down immediately and refused to discuss it. Shruti asked him something that actually landed — when a person is chasing a win, do they stop caring about what is right. Prem did not answer.
The neighbourhood ladies arrived and Leela welcomed them. They started with their usual commentary — the Shahs always had one wedding or another. Leela told them if they were there to talk nonsense they could leave. Pakhi was on edge worrying the ladies would pick up on something about Ishani and Banku. Paritosh told her to relax and keep them distracted.
Digvijay told Anupama to get her henna done. She said she would go last. Then Ansh’s expression changed. Gautam had walked in. Ansh told him to leave. Anupama told him to leave. Gautam said he had understood his mistakes and wanted to make things right. Anupama told him to stop performing. Vasundhara stepped in and pulled Gautam back before he could be pushed out. Anupama and Digvijay stood there watching him and neither of them believed a word of it.

Editor’s Take
Gautam showing up at the mehendi with a sorry face after already having the video in his pocket is the kind of move that makes your skin crawl. He was not there to apologise. He was there to watch and make sure his plan was already in motion. The girl at the party grabbing Ansh out of genuine panic is the most cruel kind of trap — it used something good that Ansh did and turned it into the thing that destroys him. Ansh calling out for Anupama from jail the night before his wedding is going to be the image this episode is remembered for. Shruti’s question to Prem about losing your conscience when you are chasing a win was pointed and he had no answer — which means somewhere in him he already knows.
