Will Ujjaini Believe Ena’s Lies About Nayanika And Ishaan?
Ujjaini stepped in and told Indrani that Nayanika was tired and whatever needed to be said could wait. Shreya pointed out sarcastically that Nayanika could apparently talk to Ujjaini just fine. Indrani said Nayanika always did this. Ujjaini turned to Indrani and said she should stop calling Nayanika the daughter-in-law of this house because she kept changing what that meant depending on the situation. She went inside. Indrani said Ujjaini was becoming exactly like her mother. She did not mean it as a compliment.
Nayanika sat alone that night wondering if she had been too sharp with Ishaan. She sent him a message saying sorry. Ishaan told her to take care of herself. Then he fell asleep and dreamed of her leaving. He woke up.
What followed was a conversation that only existed in Nayanika’s head. She asked Ishaan why he loved her. He told her she was the only person who truly understood him — that he had been waiting for someone like her without knowing it. She told him the reality. She was divorced. She had a nineteen year old daughter. The age gap between them was significant. Nobody would accept this. Society would ask questions he could not answer. Ishaan told her society had never healed anyone’s wounds so why should either of them sacrifice their happiness for it. He said he wanted her and was ready to leave everything else behind. Nayanika told him she could not survive another heartbreak — he should not start something he was going to walk away from. She held onto him. He asked if she could hear his heartbeat. She said yes. The title track played. And then she woke up. She had been dreaming. She lay there and cried.
Morning came heavy. Nayanika told herself she was going to walk into that hospital alone and fight this alone. Nobody was going to know. Meanwhile Ishaan had already told Bishu to bring Nayanika to the hospital. Bishu watched Ishaan and thought to himself that this man had everything — money, fame, the world — and none of it was what he was actually looking for.
Ishaan booked a room for Nayanika and paid for it himself. Bishu found Nayanika at her hotel and told her they would talk on the way. She went with him without fully understanding where she was being taken.
Back in Kolkata Ujjaini was fielding questions about Nayanika from the family. Grandpa asked when she would be free. Ujjaini said evening. Indrani asked if Nayanika had gone on some kind of holiday. Ujjaini said her mother would never go anywhere without her and she was not selfish. Then Ena called. Ujjaini put it on speaker without thinking. Ena told her Nayanika had not come to Mumbai for any seminar — she had come to see Ishaan. She said Nayanika had been with him the entire day and Ishaan had taken her to his house. Ujjaini asked what was wrong with that — Ishaan had come to their house too. She asked Ena why she was even making this call. Ena added one more thing. Nayanika had stayed at Ishaan’s house overnight. Ujjaini asked her what exactly her problem was. Ena said her problem was that she was Ishaan’s girlfriend and she had been removed from the band because of Nayanika. She hung up.
Shreya said now it made sense why Nayanika was so busy. Rusha told Ujjaini not to give Ena’s words any weight — Nayanika was not that kind of person. Ujjaini walked away without answering.
At the hospital Ishaan sat with Dr. Raj. The doctor told him he could not say anything until he had seen the test results.

Nayanika calls Ujjaini. Ujjaini tells her the seminar was just an excuse and she went to Mumbai to be with Ishaan. She cuts the call. Nayanika says she wants to die. Ishaan tells her not to be selfish because there are people who value her deeply.
Editor’s Take
The dream sequence was doing a lot of quiet work. Nayanika’s subconscious gave her everything she will not let herself have while she is awake — and the fact that she cried when she woke up says more than any dialogue could. Ena’s call was calculated and timed badly for Ujjaini who had no context to push back with. Rusha defending Nayanika without hesitation was a small moment that carried real warmth. And Ishaan already being at the hospital, already paying for her room, already making sure she is not actually alone in this — he just does not know yet what he has walked into. The precap has Nayanika saying she wants to die after Ujjaini cuts the call.
