Sairaab Update: Ishaan Says Hello To Nayanika At College Event
Nayanika tells Ujjaini she is looking beautiful in her saree. Ujjaini asks whether her mother will come to watch her freshers’ party performance. Nayanika hesitates, saying she only has the day off and wants to rest. Ujjaini reassures her that she understands Nayanika does not enjoy that kind of performance, referring to Ishaan, and is not forcing her to attend for that reason. She simply says Nayanika is the only one she truly has in her life. That gets to Nayanika, and she agrees to come watch her daughter’s performance, bringing a smile to Ujjaini’s face. Ujjaini hugs her before leaving.
Later, Ujjaini compliments Ishaan on his recent Chennai concert and asks if he has gotten his tests done. Ishaan is surprised she knows about that, and Ujjaini explains that Nayanika mentioned it, warning that her mother, being a strict doctor, would be upset if he skipped them. Ishaan brushes it off, saying he is just another patient to Nayanika and it likely does not matter to her either way. Ujjaini asks what would happen if he is unable to sing at a concert. Ishaan says he would simply stop performing altogether. Ujjaini is taken aback by his answer.
Back home, Nayanika gets ready for college. Indrani points out that she had refused to go earlier. Nayanika explains that Ujjaini wants her there and she will catch up on kitchen work afterward. Shreya criticizes her for not sharing her plans sooner. Jaya offers to manage things in her absence. Rusha decides to skip Rudra’s office party to help out, prompting Indrani to accuse her of not caring about Rudra’s reputation. Rusha pushes back, saying everyone deserves respect, and walks off. Nayanika asks why she cannot use her own leave the way she wants simply because she does not have a husband. Indrani brings up that she works daily and recently spent time with Ishaan. Jaya steps in and tells Nayanika to just go to college.
Meanwhile, Ena questions Ishaan about whether his “special guest” is coming today. Ishaan asks why that concerns her, and Ena complains that he never introduced her to Nayanika. Ishaan warns her not to overstep. She accuses him of acting distant ever since Nayanika came into his life. Ishaan reminds her that he has always kept his personal life private and asks her not to do anything that could hurt Nayanika. Ena declares her love for him, insisting no one could love him the way she does. Ishaan acknowledges her feelings but tells her he needs space. She leaves, clearly hurt.
At the venue, Mini is surprised to spot Ishaan arriving in another car. Nayanika notices him too. Ishaan greets only Mini with a quick hello. Mini points out that he ignored Nayanika, but she dismisses it, reasoning he only responded because Mini greeted him first, and that it would be odd to talk across separate cars anyway. She privately feels relieved about having been firm with him earlier. Ishaan, meanwhile, recalls her warning him not to contact her again.
As the event proceeds, the host announces Ishaan’s performance. While walking toward the stage, he spots Nayanika and greets her with a simple hello. She responds in kind before he heads inside to prepare.
