The episode begins with Padma informing Baldev that the courts are closed because of a holiday, so he could only receive bail the next day. She explains that Vivaan had been constantly insisting on meeting him, which is why she brought him along to the police station.
Baldev becomes emotional after seeing Vivaan and asks why such a young child came there. However, while talking to him, Baldev notices the bandages and injuries on Vivaan’s body. Shocked, he immediately asks who caused his condition.
Vivaan emotionally reveals that students at school mocked him because Aadhya chose Shivaay, whom they insultingly called a grocery worker. He says the boys humiliated and physically beat him badly over the matter.
Padma further fuels Baldev’s anger by saying that he spent only one day in jail, yet already everything in the family is falling apart. Deeply hurt after hearing about Vivaan’s suffering, Baldev quietly asks Padma to take him home.
