The episode begins with Arman standing his ground. He refuses to apologize for something he did not do and asks what will happen if he does not. Damyanti says Disha will leave the house then. Manisha immediately says if Disha leaves they will all leave too. Kajal turns to Kaveri and asks her to do something. Kaveri gives Arman an ultimatum — apologize to Disha by morning or leave the house. Arman looks around the room and feels it deeply. His own family is not willing to trust him even once.
Kaveri hands Arman a family photograph and asks him to make his choice — his family or his self-respect. Abhira watches this and decides she has had enough. She wants to tell the Poddars about Arman’s health condition right then and there. Arman stops her. He tells Abhira that Kaveri has already announced her decision — there is no real choice being offered here. Abhira admits she was wrong to assure Arman that his family would stand by him. Arman says this is not the first time he has paid the price for someone else’s mistake. Every single time, he is the one who suffers.
Arman tries to stay composed. He does not want Abhira to tell anyone the truth because he refuses to be pitied. Abhira tells him he does not have to pretend to be strong in front of her. That is when Arman breaks down. He says his family easily believed he could raise his hand against a girl. He says a family that cannot trust him is not really his family. He will not apologize for something he did not do.
Arman asks Mukti and Myra to get ready and come with them. The girls immediately sense something is off. Arman and Abhira make up a reason for leaving to avoid worrying them. Abhira quietly asks Arman why he is hiding the truth from Myra and Mukti. Arman says they are growing up too fast already — he does not want to add more weight to their shoulders. Myra tells Mukti that living in a smaller house will be different but also a new experience. She is already connecting dots.
As they prepare to leave Disha stands quietly thinking that she believes Rishabh is innocent and to protect him from Arman she had to make this decision. Arman stumbles on the way out. Abhira catches him and steadies him. She asks him to take one last look at the house. She asks when they will come back. Arman says never.
Abhira and Arman walk out together. As Kaveri had instructed Arman tears the family photograph before leaving. Kaveri watches them go from inside. She says nothing.

Arman and Abhira are settling into their new life with Myra and Mukti when Myra spots something in the newspaper. Kaveri has publicly published the news of disowning Arman. Arman is shattered and asks Abhira if Kaveri hates him so much that after humiliating him she now wants to hurt him publicly too. Abhira walks away furious.

Kaveri handing Arman a family photograph and asking him to choose was one of the most quietly cruel moments this show has delivered in a while. Arman breaking down in front of Abhira after trying so hard to hold it together was completely earned. But what hit hardest was Disha’s justification — she genuinely believes she is protecting Rishabh. That kind of misplaced loyalty always ends in tragedy. Arman tearing that photograph on the way out said everything words could not.
