Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Abhira Breaks Down On Road, Tanya Reveals Truth To Myra And Mukti
Abhira brings Arman home. Neelesh is there waiting and surprises them both with prasad. Arman barely responds. He says he only wants to sleep. Abhira tries everything — she tells him she cooked his favourite vegetable, offers lemonade, anything to get him to eat something. Arman keeps saying he just needs rest. Abhira turns away so he cannot see her face.
He sees it anyway. Their alter egos speak what neither of them can say out loud. Arman tells her he cannot keep being a burden on her. Abhira tells him they are partners — that is not how this works. She asks why he will not share his pain with her. Arman says he made a promise to take care of her and he cannot go back on that by leaning on her instead. Both of them are performing for the other — Abhira pretending to be fine, Arman pretending to sleep. Two people who love each other and cannot stop protecting each other even when it is breaking them both.
Abhira finds out Myra and Mukti have gone to the Poddar house despite being told not to. She asks Neelesh to stay with Arman and heads over. At the Poddar house Kaveri has already found out the girls were hiding in a room — Tanya told her. Kaveri does not hold back when Abhira arrives. She insults her for not being able to manage her own daughters or her husband and tells her to take the girls and leave.
Back home Arman gets up the moment Abhira is gone. He writes a note and walks out.
Abhira rounds up Myra and Mukti to leave. Kaveri asks what she will do if the girls keep coming back. Abhira starts to go but Myra and Mukti stop her. They tell her to leave — they will handle this. Abhira walks out. The girls turn to Kaveri and ask her directly how she could insult Abhira and throw Arman out overnight without a second thought. Myra wants answers.
Tanya has had enough of watching from the sidelines. She tells Myra and Mukti the truth — Arman was accused of hitting Disha and was thrown out when he refused to apologise for something he did not do. Mukti says that without any hesitation — Arman would never apologise for something he did not do. Aryan and Disha say nothing.
Abhira walks alone on the road completely shattered. She bumps into a woman and instinctively reaches out to save the lamp the woman is carrying. The woman thanks her and says God will bless her. Abhira tells her God does not seem to like her very much — her happiness never lasts. She stands there feeling the weight of everything — Arman’s health, the money, the girls, Kaveri’s words. She feels like she has ruined every life she has touched. A group of women nearby pull her along with them before she can spiral further.
Abhira eventually makes her way back home.
