The evening begins with leftover tension from the thrown sweets plate. Anupama questions Leela for disrespecting food. Ansh tries to understand what is bothering his grandmother. Leela comes straight out with it — Prerna is not right for Ansh. Anupama asks her to explain. Leela says Prerna spent time with the Kotharis which makes her half-Kothari and marrying her would turn them into enemies. Anupama fires back that the Kotharis were never friends to begin with. Leela goes further and says Prerna is Rajni’s daughter and will eventually show her true colours. Anupama refuses to let that stand and defends Prerna.
Ansh steps in and asks Leela directly — after Dolly whose marriage decision did she actually get right among all of them. Anupama, Samar, Paritosh, Pakhi — was she consulted for any of them and did it matter. He tells her he and Prerna are happy and that should count for something. Leela and Anupama get into it again. The argument gets heated enough that a bulb bursts overhead. Paritosh remarks that their fighting literally broke things.
Across the lane at the Kothari house Vasundhara watches Rahi and Prem together and notices things seem normal between them. Prem is reading something carefully. Vasundhara asks about the competition results. She says if Anupama’s café had been selected there would already be a celebration. Shruti agrees and says these competitions are not easy to crack. Prem tells both of them to stop talking about Anupama first thing in the morning.
Back at the Shah house Ansh asks why nobody can simply let him be happy. Pakhi turns to Prerna and asks about her feelings for Prem. Ansh immediately asks Pakhi about Diwakar. Pakhi says that chapter is closed. Ansh says so is Prerna’s chapter with Prem.
Prerna goes directly to Leela and pleads with her. She asks what she is supposed to do about being connected to Rajni — that is not something she chose. Hasmuk steps in and takes Prerna’s side. Anupama keeps pushing Leela to reconsider. Then Pakhi makes her move — she tells Leela not to agree because if Anupama gets her way with Ansh and Prerna she will next plan something for Banku and Ishani. Anupama asks if she has lost her mind. Pakhi says she is absolutely certain Anupama has already thought about it.
Ishani has been quiet long enough. She asks what would actually happen if she married Banku. The room goes still. Pakhi stares at her and asks what she just said. Ishani says it clearly — Banku is a gem and she loves him. Pakhi slaps her. Paritosh goes after Banku. Pakhi slaps Ishani again. Anupama steps between them and tells Pakhi to stop.
Ishani turns to Digvijay and asks him to tell everyone the truth. Pakhi immediately accuses Digvijay of putting Banku up to this. Paritosh says there has been a plan running all along. Anupama asks Digvijay why he kept this from her. Digvijay says with everything happening he never found the right moment to bring it up.
Pakhi and Paritosh turn the blame on Anupama. Kinjal asks Ishani to think practically. Ishani turns to Kinjal and asks whether she is genuinely happy with Paritosh. She says happiness comes with no guarantee for anyone. She would rather take the risk than spend her life wondering.
Banku decides to leave. Ishani refuses to let him go and says she will go with him. She announces in front of everyone that she loves him and he is her final answer. Pakhi warns her. Ishani does not step back. Pakhi breaks ties with her daughter on the spot and throws her out. Ansh, Kinjal and Mahi try to stop her. Pakhi will not hear any of it. Paritosh says if anyone should be thrown out it is Banku not Ishani. Leela tells Anupama to handle this since Banku and Digvijay are her guests.
Anupama asks both of them to go to the café for now. Pakhi pulls Anupama aside and tells her what she went through in her own marriage — she does not want Ishani walking the same road. She asks Anupama to tell her honestly if she is wrong.

Digvijay tries to comfort Anupama who wonders why she is never free from one crisis or another. Pakhi and Paritosh plan their next move. Anupama tells Digvijay she has a plan before things spiral further. Then Pakhi arrives with Vasundhara and announces she is on her side. Anupama is stunned.
Editor’s Take
Ishani saying happiness has no guarantee and she would rather take the risk was the most honest line of the episode. She is not naive — she just refuses to let fear make the decision for her. Pakhi slapping her own daughter twice was hard to watch but her breakdown at the end about not wanting Ishani to suffer what she did made her human again. The real surprise is Pakhi bringing Vasundhara into this — that alliance is going to make everything messier very fast.
