Will Rakshit Be Arrested For A Crime He Never Committed?
Rakshit drove back telling himself Aparajita had to be fine because he could not picture a version of things where she was not. He felt something pull at him — like she was close. He reached home and the security guard pointed out a dent in the car. Rakshit looked at it and remembered someone bumping into his car earlier. He told the guard to have the driver sort it out tomorrow and went inside.
At the police station Malti was in front of Lalit asking him to tell her if he knew anything. Lalit asked whether she was actually suspecting him. He said Aparajita was his whole life and he would rather hurt himself than let anything happen to her. Chandrabhaga walked in and pulled Malti up for questioning her son. Lalit asked his mother to stop — Malti was frightened because her daughter was missing. Malti told Chandrabhaga she understood her feelings too. Then Lalit planted the seed he had come to plant. He told Malti to look at Rakshit because he was certain Rakshit was behind this. He reminded her she had always known Rakshit had intentions beyond just being Aparajita’s employer. Malti left with that thought in her head. Chandrabhaga told Lalit that nobody would go after Rakshit because money protected people like him. Lalit told her to record him — he would show everyone what real power looked like.
Rakshit found Sudha and asked if she was alright. She came back at him for going to the police station. He told her Aparajita had not come home since the previous day. Sudha said her husband would handle it and Rakshit was only hurting himself by getting involved. Rakshit said he could manage his own feelings — the point was that Aparajita was missing. Sudha told him Aparajita was not some helpless woman and that one day she would be the reason everything fell apart for him. Rakshit told her this version of her did not suit her. Ira followed Sudha inside and told her Rakshit was too stubborn for anyone to stop. Sudha told her to leave.
Rakshit called Dubey for a private detective’s number. Then he called the inspector to ask about the case. The inspector said he was going through CCTV footage and disconnected. A minute later he found something.
Inside a moving car Aparajita came around. Her head hurt and she could not place where she was. Someone had hit her. She tried to move and realised her hands were tied. She could not get out.
Sudha came to Rakshit with Lalit’s video playing on her phone — Lalit pointing the finger at Rakshit for Aparajita’s disappearance, already going viral. She told him this was exactly why he needed to step back. Rakshit told her he was not stepping back from anything and walked out to find Aparajita.
The inspector arrived at the house. The CCTV footage showed Aparajita with Rakshit last — and the angle made it look like he had made her get into his car. Rakshit said he had only spoken to her about her job. The inspector said Lalit’s video had spread too far and he needed to take Rakshit in for questioning. The family surrounded Rakshit immediately. Arvind told the inspector nobody was touching his son. Then Arvind went down — a panic attack. Rakshit said they needed to get him to a hospital. The inspector said Rakshit was not going anywhere. Rakshit told Vivaan to take their father. Ira told the inspector to wait for the lawyer. He said he could not wait and took Rakshit.
In the car Aparajita heard everything. Rakshit’s voice. Arvind’s voice. She heard all of it and could not do a thing.

Lalit telling Chandrabhaga to record him and then planting that idea with Malti in the same visit tells you exactly how calculated this is. He is not panicking — he is building a case. The CCTV angle working against Rakshit is the oldest trick and it is working perfectly because Lalit knew it would. Aparajita lying tied up in a moving car hearing Rakshit get taken away by police is a specific kind of helplessness the show staged carefully. She knows what is happening to him because of her and she cannot move. Sudha showing Rakshit the viral video to convince him to back off and him walking straight out the door anyway said more about him than anything else in this episode.
