Will Arman Survive The Surgery After The Wedding?
Abhira told Arman that just like today had worked out, the surgery would too. She said no darkness could reach them because they were surrounded by light. The lights went out at exactly that moment. Arman said it felt like a bad sign. Abhira talked him back from the edge of that thought. Arman looked at her and said she had a way of making him believe everything would be fine. Abhira told him Mussoorie had its own kind of magic and held onto the hope that both the wedding and the surgery would go the way they needed to.
Tanya was having her own difficult night. The mosquitoes were unbearable and she snapped at Krish about it. Then she said what had been sitting with her — she wanted a divorce. Krish was quiet for a moment. He said watching Arman and Abhira had shown him something about what a real relationship looked like. He told Tanya she deserved the right person and he was ready to let her go.
Myra was wishing for a perfect wedding. Mukti was wishing for Arman to come through the surgery. Abhira lay awake doing the maths — twelve hours until the operation. She thought about what it would feel like standing outside the OT waiting. She told herself she had to hold it together for him and kept repeating that the surgery would go well.
Morning brought the haldi. The Poddars gathered and Abhira drifted into a daydream for a moment — a romantic haldi, just the two of them. She came back to find Arman already looking at her. Myra jumped in and told Arman to stop staring or Abhira might disappear. Kaveri said they were completely gone for each other. Vidya quietly warded off the evil eye. Arman noticed her restlessness and asked about it. Vidya said she felt like too many eyes were on them and it worried her. Kaveri’s expression shifted. Myra called everyone to begin.
Arman asked Abhira if she had slept at all. She told him she would sleep once this was behind them. The haldi started. Abhira and Arman both found ways to stay away from Disha without making it obvious. Then the wind picked up suddenly and the function was disrupted. Kaveri said it felt like a real storm was coming. Abhira stood there feeling the clock moving faster than she could keep up with.
Arman slipped away quietly. His body was not cooperating and he needed to feel better before the wedding. He went looking for his medicine.
Abhira turned and saw a white sari. She screamed before she could stop herself — said out loud that this could not be her reality. She pulled herself back and told herself nothing was going to happen to Arman. Tanya came and told her it was her mistake, she had left it there by accident. She handed Abhira a red sari instead. Abhira steadied herself. She looked at Tanya and felt the weight the other woman was carrying too. Tanya told her this was not the moment for her pain and asked Abhira to get ready.
Abhira stood alone and thought about why a white sari had shaken her so completely. She called out to Akshara. Not out loud — somewhere deeper than that. She felt something. She asked Akshara to keep Arman safe.

Arman quietly going to find his medicine while everyone was celebrating around him is the detail that sits heaviest — he is managing his own deterioration in private so she does not have to see it. The white sari hitting Abhira the way it did made complete sense. She has not said the fear out loud but her body said it for her. Tanya asking for a divorce on the same night and Krish letting her go because of what he saw in Arman and Abhira — that is a small story inside a big one but it landed.
