Rakshit reaches Aparajita just in time. He tells her he will not let anything happen to her. But Aparajita has already lost consciousness. He picks her up and rushes out. At the hospital he tells the doctor she inhaled a lot of smoke and collapsed. The doctor moves fast and takes her straight to the ICU. The nurse blocks Rakshit from following. He stands outside and watches through the glass unable to do anything. When Aparajita stops breathing the doctor uses electric shock to bring her back. Rakshit cannot take it anymore. He pushes past the staff and gets into the ICU.
He leans close and tells her she cannot give up. He says Aparajita 2.0 has a life to live. He asks who he will argue with if something happens to her. His voice breaks. He calls out — Appu. He reminds her she promised to always stand by him and she cannot go back on that now. He asks her to wake up. Then her fingers move. Rakshit sees it. The doctor sees it too. He sends Rakshit out immediately.
Inside Aparajita tells the nurse that Rakshit’s hand is injured. The nurse steps out and takes Rakshit for treatment. Even in that state her first thought was him.
Aparajita’s family arrives at the hospital. They see her condition and break down. While the family gathers outside the nurse brings Rakshit the admission form to sign. He signs it without thinking. Later when Lalit walks in Rakshit’s expression hardens. Everything Aparajita said about her marriage comes back to him. He grabs Lalit and beats him. He warns him to never come near Aparajita again. Lalit says he is her husband. Rakshit tells him he is not a husband — he is a sin. And he knows exactly what Lalit did to her.
Dubey walks in and takes in the whole scene quietly.
Malti pulls Rakshit away from Lalit. She thanks him for saving Aparajita’s life but tells him he cannot do this. Rakshit tells her Lalit abused Aparajita. Malti says that is a family matter and Rakshit has no business interfering. Lalit stands back pleased — Malti is doing exactly what he wanted. Malti tells Rakshit to leave since the family and her husband are here now. Rakshit refuses to move.
The doctor comes out and addresses Rakshit directly — his wife is out of danger and he can see her now. Lalit steps forward and tells the doctor he is Aparajita’s husband. The doctor pauses and says the man who signed the admission form as husband is Rakshit. The room goes completely still.
Malti recovers quickly. She points to Lalit and clarifies he is Aparajita’s actual husband. She tells the doctor Rakshit is just her employer and signed in the wrong place. Rakshit says it was a mistake. Malti tells him sharply not to repeat it. She goes inside. Ramgopal stays back and quietly apologises to Rakshit for her behaviour.
Dubey turns to Rakshit and says something that cuts right through. He tells him he used to wonder how anyone could walk away from someone like Rakshit. Now he understands everything.

Aparajita thanks Rakshit for always believing in her. She tells him Aparajita 2.0 is standing right in front of him. Rakshit says the road ahead will not be easy. Aparajita says she already knows — no journey is ever easy for a woman. She then finds out that Lalit and his mother are moving into her neighbourhood and tells Rakshit immediately.

Rakshit calling out “Appu” while breaking down in the ICU was the moment this episode was building toward and it landed exactly as hard as it should have. The admission form mix-up was small but it said everything — in that moment of panic Rakshit did not think twice about who she was to him. Dubey’s final line was perfect. He did not need to say more. And Lalit standing there letting Malti fight his battles tells you everything about who he really is.
