Avantika suggests Dhruv should personally pick a saree for Aarambhi. Dhruv fires back and says if that is expected of him then Vishwas should be choosing one for Avantika too. He then tells Vishwas directly to select a saree for Aarambhi — pointedly leaving Avantika out and calling her an outsider to the family.
Soundarya says Aarambhi never thinks about herself and the family does not value her enough. Aarambhi replies simply that whatever she does for this family she does from the heart and expects nothing back in return.
Dhruv watches her walk away and his grandmother’s words about Aarambhi come back to him. He makes up his mind to do something for her — and at the same time teach Dimple a lesson. Aarambhi asks him if he needs anything before she leaves. He says no. After he goes Aarambhi tells Soundarya not to complain about family matters in front of outsiders and heads to the hospital.
The designer arrives with a collection of sarees for Dimple, Nandita and Avantika. Dhruv sits nearby on his phone. Avantika keeps an eye on him wondering why he is so interested in Aarambhi’s saree situation. Dhruv casually comments that Nandita’s colour choice is off and suggests pastel instead. Dimple boasts that whatever she wears automatically becomes a trend. Dhruv suggests the pink saree for Dimple and pastel for Nandita. Both agree without realising Dhruv has a reason for pushing the pink saree specifically.
Vishwas comes downstairs. Dhruv asks Dimple which saree she has selected for Aarambhi. Dimple brushes it off. Dhruv then turns to Avantika and asks if the saree she is holding is for Aarambhi. Avantika fires back sarcastically saying she expected that question from Vishwas not Dhruv. Dhruv smiles and says that way Vishwas can focus on picking one for Avantika instead. Vishwas picks a saree for Avantika. Dhruv jokes that since Vishwas has chosen for his “baharwali” he should also pick something for his “gharwali” Aarambhi.
He spots Aarambhi heading out and stops her. He picks the pink saree and says it would suit her. Vishwas disagrees and hands her a peach one instead. Dhruv insists on the pink. Before anything is decided Dimple announces she wants the pink saree herself. Aarambhi hands it over without a second thought. Dhruv quietly thinks — perfect, phase one complete. Dimple then adds she is middle class and usually reuses sarees so she does not need a new one anyway. Dhruv is even more pleased. Aarambhi leaves for the hospital and Dhruv silently thanks her.
Avantika pulls Nandita aside and starts working on her. She points out that Dhruv personally chose a pink saree for Aarambhi and keeps complimenting her. She brings up the chunri incident. She suggests Aarambhi behaves differently around Dhruv and that it does not look right. Nandita listens carefully and agrees they should both watch the two of them closely during Raj’s engagement tomorrow. Avantika is satisfied. After Nandita leaves she spots some sleeping pills nearby. A new plan starts forming in her head.
Late at night Dhruv finds a locked room. He picks the lock with a knife and slips inside. He spots Dimple heading to the bathroom and moves fast — searches for the cupboard keys and finds them under a pillow. He opens the cupboard, takes out the pink saree and does something to it quietly — his version of creating a new trend. Just as he finishes Dimple comes back from the bathroom. Dhruv ducks behind the curtains. Dimple notices the cupboard open, assumes she forgot to close it and goes back to sleep. Dhruv slips out.
Outside he nearly runs into Aarambhi returning from her shift. He tries to walk away casually but she calls out his name. He stops.

Dhruv engineering the whole pink saree situation without anyone catching on was genuinely fun to watch. He is playing this smart — using Dimple’s own vanity against her. Avantika planting doubts in Nandita’s mind shows she never stops scheming even when one plan fails. But those sleeping pills at the end are a serious warning. Whatever she is planning next is going to be far more dangerous than anything before.
