The episode begins with Anupama breaking down emotionally in front of Anuj’s photograph. Crying helplessly, she asks if he heard the terrible things Rahi said to her. Anupama feels completely shattered after Rahi questioned both her character and her relationship with Digvijay.
Anupama confesses that this time she does not regret slapping Rahi because Rahi had crossed her limits many times before as well. She remembers how Rahi had insulted her in the past too, but she had ignored everything silently.
However, this time Rahi crossed every boundary by questioning her love for Anuj and her dignity. Anupama emotionally begs Anuj to come back and hold her hand in front of the world so people would stop accusing her.
Completely heartbroken, she says that if Anuj does not return, she will start believing that maybe he never truly loved her.
In her emotionally vulnerable state, Anupama imagines Anuj standing beside her. He consoles her and encourages her to stay strong. But suddenly he disappears, leaving Anupama emotional once again.
Anupama gathers herself and says that Anuj has once again taught her to believe in herself. She vows that no matter what the world says, she will definitely fulfill Saavi and Anuj’s dream.
Meanwhile, tension continues inside the Kothari house as well. Anil asks Vasundhara whether she stayed awake all night and requests her to end the matter. But Vasundhara continues blaming the Shah family, especially Anupama.
Gautam tries to take advantage of the situation by questioning Anupama’s character. However, Prem immediately shuts him down. Prem clearly says that even though he is angry with Anupama, nobody has the right to question her character.
Khyati also supports Anupama and reminds Vasundhara of her hypocrisy. She questions why Shruti was happily accepted despite being in a live-in relationship with Anuj, while Anupama is constantly judged.
Rahi still refuses to calm down and says she feels disgusted even hearing Anupama’s name. Khyati emotionally warns Rahi that someone is fueling her anger and one day she may lose her mother forever.
Meanwhile, Digvijay decides to leave to avoid creating more problems. But Anupama stops him and says that if he leaves now, people will believe he had wrong intentions.
Anupama firmly declares that with or without Digvijay, she will fulfill Anuj and Saavi’s dream. However, she leaves the final decision to Digvijay himself.
In another dramatic moment, Shruti creates further misunderstanding. She tells Khyati that as long as she is there, Rahi will never feel deprived of a mother’s love.
Shruti then makes a shocking statement and says that she lived with Anuj hoping they would eventually get married. She adds that Anupama and Digvijay’s relationship can only have two meanings — either their relationship is about to begin or it has already begun.
Khyati is left completely shocked hearing Shruti’s words.
Back at the Shah house, Hasmuk is seen cleaning the house. Emotionally, he says that while he can clean dirt from the house, he cannot clean people’s dirty mindsets.
Pakhi and Paritosh continue blaming Anupama and complain that Hasmuk always supports her no matter what. Hasmuk finally loses his temper hearing them.
Leela asks Hasmuk to convince Digvijay to leave the house, but Hasmuk clearly refuses and says he will not stop either Anupama or Digvijay.
In the final emotional moments of the episode, both Anupama and Rahi are shown restless and heartbroken.
Digvijay consoles Anupama, while Rahi confesses to Prem that she was never Anupama’s priority.
Anupama emotionally says that she truly loved Rahi and only lost control after hearing such painful accusations from her own daughter. But on the other side, Rahi firmly believes that Anupama never genuinely loved her at all.
