Anupama Update: Anupama’s One Year Plan Shocks Ishani, Vasundhara Visits Shah House
The episode opens with Vasundhara visibly surprised to find Pakhi and Paritosh standing at her door. She asks what they are doing there. Pakhi says she has come to beg — she has nowhere else to turn. Prem, Rahi and Pari watch in confusion as Pakhi breaks down and tells Vasundhara that Anupama is pushing for Ishani and Banku’s marriage. She and Paritosh both request Vasundhara to step in and help. Vasundhara listens but tells Pakhi clearly she cannot interfere in Anupama’s family matters. She wants to stay away from Shah house drama. Pakhi refuses to accept that answer. She pleads with Khyati to at least talk to Anupama as her friend. Khyati tells her to trust Anupama. Pakhi will not hear it. In a moment of complete desperation she threatens to end her life. Paritosh quickly steps in and calms her down. Prem looks at Vasundhara and asks her to help — Pakhi is clearly falling apart.
Back at the Shah house Anupama has gathered the family together. Leela immediately assumes the worst and says Anupama is probably about to announce Ishani and Banku’s wedding and ask everyone to get ready to dance. Before anything can be addressed Pakhi walks in with a surprise — Vasundhara is with her. Vasundhara tells Anupama that Pakhi requested her to come and discuss the situation directly.
Pakhi makes her position clear — she does not trust Anupama to make the right call here. Ishani gets angry hearing that. Kinjal, Mahi and Pari ask her to hold herself back. Hasmuk steps in and asks Pakhi something that cuts right through — when Ishani was shattered, depressed and at her lowest, who stood by her? Was that Anupama ruining her life or saving it? Anupama quietly asks Hasmuk to stop defending her.
Vasundhara then speaks directly to Anupama and asks her not to support or encourage Ishani and Banku’s relationship. Anupama thanks her genuinely for taking time out to discuss her children. She appreciates that Vasundhara came. Kinjal asks everyone to give Anupama a moment to speak. The room goes quiet.
Anupama says she has raised these children. She knows them better than anyone in that room. She says Ishani is stubborn right now — but she also understands why. Ishani was lonely and found companionship in Banku. Whether that is friendship or love only time will tell. Pakhi tries to cut in. Anupama stops her.
Then she announces her decision — one that shocks everyone including Ishani. Anupama says she and Digvijay have agreed that Banku and Ishani will be given one full year. During that time both will focus on their studies and careers while living separately from each other. No rushing, no pressure, no marriage talk. If their feelings are real they will survive the distance and the wait. Ishani stands there unable to speak.

Anupama’s one year plan was the smartest move she could have made. She did not say no to Ishani and Banku — she said not yet. That distinction matters. It protects Ishani without dismissing her feelings and it gives Banku a chance to prove himself.
