The Episode Started With Something is clearly off and Anupama feels it before anyone says a word. She corners Digvijay and asks him directly whether Banku is unwell. No straight answer comes back. Jai walks into the café around the same time and Anupama shifts gears immediately, thanking him for the order and settling him in while she gets things moving. She circles back to Digvijay and tells him to get Banku here because the place simply does not run the same without him. Digvijay’s expression does the talking.
Across town at Prem’s café the situation is messier than Rahi is letting on. She is running everything single-handed and telling herself she will see it through. Letting Prem down is not something she is willing to do. The vegetables catch and burn before she can stop it and the phone call that follows makes things worse. The Shah house is operating at a completely different frequency. Leela has Hasmuk reading out the horoscope and perks up the moment her name comes up. Hasmuk announces that turbulence is headed their way and glances at Leela with a look that says the forecast and the woman in front of him are one and the same. Leela calls for tea from Banku without missing a beat. Hasmuk puts in a quiet word asking her to treat Banku with a little more consideration. On the other side of the house Ishani has been searching for Banku and reaches a decision — Anupama needs to hear the truth from her directly.
The café is buzzing when Anupama mentions to Digvijay that daily orders could become a real thing. Banku showing up lifts her mood further. What she does not catch is Banku pulling Digvijay aside and telling him he could not go through with it. She notices Banku looks troubled and moves toward him but Prerna cuts in first with word that Rahi is in over her head. Rahi had already reached out to Shruti and gotten nowhere. Shruti drew a clear line — her role is client-facing and meetings, not kitchen management. Rahi is on her own.
The moment Rahi looks closest to breaking is exactly when the door opens. Anupama steps in and behind her are Digvijay, Kinjal, Mahi, Ansh and Ishani. Rahi’s walls go up immediately. Anupama does not push. She just puts one question in front of her — what carries more weight right now, protecting Prem’s pride or delivering on the order. She tells Rahi to let them work and then says something quieter. Before she walked through that door she thought about every time Prem had made her feel unwelcome here. But Rahi’s face made the decision for her. The team moves without another word said.
Prem is not in a condition to be heading anywhere but Khyati cannot get him to stand still. He is fixed on one thing — the order, the contract, staying in the game. Khyati tells him to drop the act, this has nothing to do with business and everything to do with Anupama. Prem does not argue the point. He just leaves. Gautam has had Paritosh on updates the whole time and is thoroughly entertained. He nudges Vasundhara toward the café and waits, knowing the collision he has engineered is minutes away.
The contractor gets his delivery on time and walks away satisfied. Rahi thanks Anupama. Anupama tells her that was never what this was about. The door opens again and Prem, Vasundhara and Gautam walk straight into something they were not prepared for. Paritosh adds to it by arriving with Hasmuk and Leela in tow. Prem turns on Rahi immediately. Anupama cuts across him and tells him not to speak to Rahi that way in front of her. Prem says this is between him and his staff. Anupama says Rahi will always be her daughter regardless. She states clearly that Rahi never picked up the phone to call them. Prerna steps forward and says she was the one who reached out. Vasundhara redirects the blame back at Rahi anyway. Digvijay has heard enough. He faces the room and spells it out — the job is done, Prem walks away with the benefit, and his response is to stand here pointing fingers. He tells Prem directly that the reason he will always fall short is that he has never learned what it means to respect the women around him. Prem tells him to stop talking.

Digvijay has spent most of this track as background presence but what he said today and who he said it to in front of changes that. Prem’s silence after was more revealing than any comeback could have been. Gautam is the one actually worth watching here — no raised voice, no confrontation, just quiet placement of people and patient waiting. That is a more deliberate kind of trouble than anything happening on the surface. Anupama’s reason for walking into that café after everything Prem put her through was never about herself and the show made sure that was clear. The Banku thread meanwhile is still unresolved and sitting under everything else. It will not stay quiet much longer.
