She pleaded with her mother to stop forcing her into marriage. Sangam reminded her that she has dreams, ambitions, and career goals that she wants to achieve before thinking about marriage. She requested her mother to speak to her father and make him understand her perspective.
However, her mother explained that the marriage proposal was connected to her father’s long-cherished dream. Since the groom belonged to a trusted family friend, she felt Sangam should at least consider the match.
